Gertrude Sterling
President
Gertrude presides at all Unit and Executive Board meetings, observes strict observance to our by-laws and constitution, creates committees and appoints members as deemed advisable and appoints officers as needed to the executive officers board.
Deborah Scampoli
First Vice President
Deborah serves in the absence of the President as well is the Chairperson of the Membership Committee and the Poppy Fundraising Committee. In collaboration with the team, she oversees the communications relating to recruiting new members and promoting poppy fundraising efforts.
Debbie Davis
Second Vice President
Debbie serves in the absence of the President as requested and assists the First Vice President with Membership and Fundraising. In collaboration with the team, she oversees the marketing, communications and outreach programs.
Sarah Harris
Treasurer
Sarah maintains all bookkeeping and financial reports for ALA Unit 205 and donors. We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization and comply with all federal and state financial reporting and audit guidelines.
Diane Tische
Historian Diane is responsible for compiling the historical records of the Unit and to maintain and report all records to the American Legion 205 Veterans council
Kay Ranta
Secretary
Kay records all transactions at meetings, maintains all official documents, maintain membership status records, sends notices to members as directed by the President and performs other such duties as requested by the President or Vice President.
Bertha Gadson
Chaplain
Bertha is responsible for offering prayer at the opening and closing of monthly meetings and is responsible for all activities in the spiritual nature and notify the unit of any ill or deceased members.
Holly Sherburne
Sergeant at Arms
Holly is responsible for maintaining order at the ALA Unit 205 meetings and to perform other duties as requested by the President. Holly oversees the Boys/Girls Club awards program.
